PRACTICE PHILOSOPHY

The human body, is woven together through a continuous fascial network; fascia  literally being the medium that gives the body its form and integrity. Manual therapies— all variations —in one way or another strive to restore balance to the neuro-musculo-skeletal systems housed in this continuous fascial network.

______

Our approach, the Integrative Physical Therapy approach, which is continually evolving as our understanding of health and wellness evolves, is to bring whatever is called for, whatever treatment modalities work best for you to achieve our shared goal of health, wellness and unrestricted movement.

What to Expect

What to Expect

Every patient undergoes a thorough evaluation determining the best course of treatment to meet their goals and diagnosis.  Typical treatment sessions may include:

  • Soft tissue and joint manipulation,

  • Therapeutic exercise,

  • Strength training and conditioning,

  • Myofascial dry needling

  • Balance and proprioceptive training

We believe in treating the whole person. We will focus on your primary complaint or diagnosis -plus- how your diagnosis is affecting you as a whole. If necessary, this may result in a referral to another healthcare professional to assist in management of your symptoms.

With many injuries, but especially chronic issues, it is rarely the case that the problem is of a singular origin. We are bio-psycho-social beings. As such, when treating a myofascial issue, you must acknowledge and manage other factors such as your mental and social health as well as your physical health.
